1. Te Manava Spa — Spa of the Pacific Resort Rarotonga and Te Manava Villas

Overlooking the stunning Muri Lagoon on the eastern side of Rarotonga, Te Manava Spa is located onsite at the Te Manava Luxury Villas. The guests living in the Pacific Resort also have access to special facilities of this Spa, and complimentary pick and drop is offered between the Spa and resort.

This Spa in Rarotonga has internationally trained therapists that provide relaxing services in serene water garden settings. Their range of different treatments, including Polynesian-style massages and beauty services, are sure to leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

The nail cottage salon at Pacific Resort is fantastic for manicures and pedicures, and Te Tika, a line of organic products made from Cook Island-based ingredients, is also available for purchase here.

The price levels are as follows: packages range between $185 and $350, and massages vary between $95 and $180 per person (double the prices for couples). There are also pregnancy massages to relax the tense muscles of expecting mamas!

2. Rumours Waterfall Spa (& Luxury Villas)

Rumors Waterfall Spa, a part of Rumors Luxury Villas, is located in Muri — the most beautiful section of Rarotonga’s encircling lagoon. It has won the “Best Resort Spa in the Cook Islands” for 9 consecutive years by the World Travels Group.

The indoor waterfalls make this Spa in Rarotonga a unique one (and give it its name). Its Vichy Shower, featuring seven different shower jets, will make you feel like you’re lying under a refreshing waterfall. This increases blood circulation, provides hydration, and has multiple health benefits!

You can find a range of exceptional services here for varying prices, including Balinese massages and Polynesian hydrotherapies. From $80 manicures, $130 facials, $180 body masks to massages between $80 and $300, there are multiple options to choose from!

3. Kia Orana Villas & Spa

The Kia Orana Villas and Spa is situated in the secluded village of Atupa amidst a stunning landscape dotted with tropical plants. If you wish to relax in one of Rarotonga’s most laid-back and quiet areas (instead of the beachfront), this Spa is for you!

Here, you can enjoy traditional treatments with a Polynesian flair. The $150 Kia Orana massage and body scrub (including a coconut drink) is worth trying. There are also other options, with prices varying between $65 and $180 depending on whether you take it only for some body parts or for the full body.

Spa Nautilus is also the only Spa of the Cooks to offer Thalgo treatments, which incorporate the goodness of nature into the service — you sure can’t miss this one!

5. Muri Beach Club

The Muri Beach Club is located on the best stretch of beach on the Muri Lagoon. It is the Cooks’ only eco-resort and is self-sufficient in power production. As such, the hotel’s beauty spa also adopts sustainable practices to reduce its carbon footprint. Bonus: you’ll get stunning views of the lagoon from the Spa!

The services offered include tanning, waxing, and massaging in either private air-conditioned rooms or lagoonside cabanas. Their spa therapists are guaranteed to provide you with the relaxing experience you’re looking for! What’s more, this is one of the more reasonable Spas in Rarotonga, with almost all services (except a few) being under $150.

However, the Spa is temporarily closed due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation. If you’re hoping to make a booking, be sure to contact them at info@muribeachclubhotel.com beforehand.

6. Spa Ariki — Crown Beach Spa & Resort

Spa Ariki, a part of the Crown Beach Spa & Resort, is located on Rarotonga’s sheltered sunset coast towards the island’s western side. The resort is set on five acres of beautiful gardens. In addition to the spa facilities, there are plenty of opportunities for watersports and a private white-sand beach to enjoy.

The full-service Spa makes use of anti-aging products derived from natural plant antioxidants, and their skincare line, Rito, is guaranteed to provide instant, excellent results. The luxurious spa treatments will surely make you unwind in peaceful settings!

7. SpaPolynesia — The Rarotongan Beach Resort

SpaPolynesia, a part of the Rarotongan Beach Resort, is located on Aroa Beach in the southwestern part of Rarotonga. The 4-star resort is also near a lagoonarium, making for the best snorkeling spot.

Whether you seek the healing effects of a massage or the beautifying touches from facials, it’s all there for the taking in their Polynesian-influenced Spa, that too in special pampering packages. Most of the services offered are under $200, with each being well worth the money.
